Dementia Care

Our live-in carers are fully trained on the effects on behaviour, memory and more when it comes to dementia care.  In fact, we will not register them with our agency if they have not had the relevant dementia care training and experience to look after our clients.

They understand how important it is to encourage your loved one to be as independent as they can be and to put them at ease.  They also understand the value of treating everyone as a unique individual and knowing what works for that particular person.

They will ensure they receive specialist support alongside other tasks they are required to do.  Our live-in carers can also ensure your loved one’s safety at night as well as during the day.

Going the extra mile with dementia care

They will go the extra mile to encourage dignity, independence, mental stimulation and social interaction to help limit changing behavioural and cognitive symptoms.  They will also give essential companionship and emotional support during what can be a difficult time.

For us at Care Sisters, it is all about making sure your loved one is able to feel safe and comfortable in their own home with familiar surroundings.  Live-in care for dementia sufferers can also relieve the pressure and worry felt by a family that may live far away and may not be able to help as much as they would like.
